A Canuck in Cancun

This is fantatastic!  A Canuck Expat blog in Cancun.  Could it get any better?  Apparently not as this one is also up for the best Latin American Blog over at the Bloggies: The Bloggies .  Best of luck CancunCanuck!  I would encourage everyone to race over to The Bloggies and vote.

Living La Vida Loca In Japan

Helen, a Canadian women (used to live on a farm see March 31st, 2008) living in a small city in Japan has been busy writting a very detailed daily blog for quite a while.  Very Diaryish, but interesting as she blogs about her work as a teacher and things that bother her about restaurants in Japan and about some of the things that her husband does.

If you are planning to move to Japan to teach, this is a great blog to follow.  Helen will prepare you for everything.

Absent Canadian is an interesting blog, aptly self-described as

Eating poutine in the South since 2004, eh?

Mike, having lived all over Canada finally moved from Calgary to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2004. Since then he’s been writting about his life south of the border.

The absorption into American culture has been a roller-coaster ride in every sense.

writes Mike. Take a look when you get a chance. It’s an interesting peek into his hit roller-coaster ride.

Dewar’s on the Rocks

The life of an Expat is full of fantastic places and people.  Tammy gives us a geat peak into a life in Europe (and Egypt and Malaysia and…).

It’s a great read.

Canadians Abroad

A new blog with a Canadian Expat’s view on DFAIT.  It will be interesting to see where this one goes.

Christina, originally from Vancouver is currently living in small town Germany and has been a blogger since October 2005, which in blog time is a really long time ago.  Thanks for keeping us up to date Christina.  This is truly a fantastic look into the life of a Canadian Expat and her family.  Filled with charm and loaded with photos, this blog is where anyone looking to move to Germany needs to start.

A Canadian in Norway

Beaverboosh is (as the name of the blog implies), a Canadian in Norway.  What Beaverboosh does besides blog is not known but he is without a doubt the funniest Canadian Expat blogger that I have yet to read.  If you are looking for chuckle about a couple of Swedes being attacked by a bear or a slightly different look at the global infidelity issue brought out by Governor Spitzer, this is the blog for you.  Very funny.

Canucks Abroad is the motherlode of information about Canadian Football (read Soccer) Players that have found success outside of Canada.  This is a great resource if you are even the slightest bit interested in Canadian Soccer (oops, I mean Football).

A huge thanks to Al Clark for starting this site.   Al, you’re doing a great job.

View on Canadian Art

Although Andrea Carson doesn’t write specifically about Canadian Expats, she does write about Canadian Artists. Occasionally some of those artists are coincidentally also expats.  This is one post where she writes about 2 Canadians Abroad and Albright Knox.

Its an interesting read.  Thanks Andrea for helping Canadian Expats.

A football (that is, soccer) blog, with an emphasis on statistics, rankings, Canada’s national teams and goings-on in CONCACAF.

No-Title

This site is not really a blog by Canadian Expats but it does include the occassional interesting article about Canadian Athletes abroad.
